Our Mission...
Action for the Betterment of our Community is a group of citizens from the greater Sturgis area who have united to identify community strengths and resources, to promote community cohesion, healthy lifestyles and positive experiences for people of all ages. A.B.C. is committed to raising awareness on issues relating to alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse, and violence. We strive to mobilize resources to address these social problems through the provision of education, activities, and training.
It is Our Responsibility to...
Listen to the youth, to mentor and direct them in life for positive results. Create opportunities for the youth to be involved and recognized by their community
Set respectful boundaries within the community. Model good citizenship, trustworthiness, respect, fairness, and responsibility. Provide the community with education about prevention, parenting, and other community concerns
