Running Away
Almost everyone thinks about running away from home at some time. You may feel depressed about your life and may want to do something to change the way things are going. Talking to someone may help you understand yourself and the situation better, think more clearly, and make intelligent decisions based on realistic choices.
Who can you talk to about your feelings? Family members, religious leaders, teachers and counselors, or reliable friends are some suggestions. Try talking it out with someone you trust.
If you or a friend are determined to run away, and talking it out does not seem to help, please run to a safe place. Even the most street-wise people can get ripped off, harassed, or seriously hurt while trying to make it on their own.
